On 25 May, Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova held a set of meetings with human rights organisations. The discussion arisen was related to implementation of certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation aimed at protecting children from information advocating for a denial of traditional family values.

Thus the issues of sexual discrimination and protection of sexual and gender minorities’ rights were discussed at the meeting with representatives of the interregional non-governmental organisation the Russian LGBT Network and the international organisation Human Rights Watch.
