High Commissioner’s visit to Kiev

The High Commissioner repeatedly appealed to the Ukraine authorities to change the measure of restraint to the journalist, objectively consider the case and dismiss the charge of treason against the prisoner of conscience.
During the visit to Kiev, the Russian Commissioner is to meet with Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova. Tatiana Moskalkova is to discuss with the Ukrainian counterpart protection of Russian citizens in Ukraine, and Ukrainians in Russia, as well as continuing the dialogue between human rights institutions of the two countries.
