High Commissioner prepared a report on housing and communal services

On 25 July, Rossiyskaya Gazeta published a report by the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation on the observance and protection of the rights of citizens in the sphere of housing and communal services.

The document reflects the number and subjects of citizens' appeals on housing and communal services, as well as comments on the most pressing issues — payment for housing and communal services, major repairs, emergency housing and others.

The purpose of the report is to inform federal and regional public authorities about the difficulties that citizens face in realizing their rights in this social sphere and to make suggestions for legislation improvement.
