On November 8, in Manama, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova met  Chairperson of the Council of Representatives of Bahrain (the lower house of parliament) Khalifa Al-Dhahrani.

Tatiana Moskalkova and Khalifa Al-Dhahrani exchanged experience in improving human rights legislation and discussed protection of women's rights. The High Commissioner told the Speaker about law "On Commissioners for Human Rights in the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation".

The Russian Commissioner spoke about female mentor project «Women’s League» launched in Russia. Under the project female students can receive personal recommendations and experience from successful women leaders in Russia in order to implement their social projects.  The Russian Commissioner is one of the project mentors.

At the end of the meeting the Russian ombudswoman invited the Speaker of the Council of Representatives to visit Russia and the House of Human Rights.
