A year as the Commissioner. Preliminary results

On 25 March, Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova, who has been in the office since 18 March 2014, held a press conference.

Ms Pamfilova highlighted contemporary and system-related human rights problems in the country, spoke about key principles of her activity and specific aspects in the work of the commissioner’s institute as a whole. In addition, the Commissioner gave examples of solved cases and answered journalists’ questions.
