25 years of cooperation in the Council of Europe: Tatiana Moskalkova addressed advanced training courses at MGIMO

On May 17, at MGIMO, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova participated in the opening of the annual advanced training courses for civil servants dedicated to the Implementation of international and constitutional guarantees of human rights in Russian law and law enforcement practice: 25 years of cooperation in the Council of Europe.
According to the federal ombudswoman, over a quarter of a century, significant changes have occurred in our legal and humanitarian spheres, many of which are the result of interaction and cooperation with the Council of Europe.

Speaking about interaction with the Council of Europe, Tatiana Moskalkova informed that more than 25 events were conducted in 2018–2021 to discuss both systemic problems and specific human rights cases.
In conclusion, the High Commissioner wished success to the course participants and expressed gratitude to the MGIMO management for organizing such a platform with the involvement of a wide range of Russian and international experts.
