Novosibirsk Region residents complain most about social rights’ infringements and authorities’ actions
The analysis of complaints received by Commissioner for Human Rights in Novosibirsk Region Nina Shalabaeva during the open office hours held for public in 2015 has shown that the region’s residents are most concerned about violations in the fields of public utility services, housing, social payments and benefits.
On 21 July, the Press Service of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reported that the rights of the dead serviceman’s parents were restored with assistance of Roman Obutov, public assistant to the Commissioner.
Following the investigation initiated by Commissioner for Human Rights in Trans-Baikal Territory Nikolai Kargin, a father of a disabled child has had his employment restored.

On 15 July, Commissioner for Human Rights in Altai Territory Boris Larin inspected the Special Accommodation Centre (SUVSIG) of the Federal Migration Service Directorate in Altai Territory, where 40 citizens of Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan were awaiting their deportation from Russia.
