On 11 September, the Office of the Khabarovsk Territory Commissioner for Human Rights hosted a roundtable on re-socialisation of former prisoners, initiated by the Far East Scientific Centre of Local Self-Government . Following the meeting a resolution concerning establishment of a system for former prisoners’ rehabilitation was adopted in Khabarovsk Territory.

On 8 September, Commissioner for Human Rights in Tomsk Region Elena Kartashova inspected Pre-Trial Detention Centre No. 1 ( SIZO-1 ) of the Tomsk Region Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. Ms Kartashova checked how the elections would be arranged for the detainees in the facility.
On 3 September, commissioners for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Crimea entered into cooperation agreement in Kazan. The agreement was signed within the framework of the introductory visit of the Crimean delegation to Tatarstan headed by regional Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Lubina.
