Responsibility for investigation into assault and battery case of Memorial lawyer taken by interior officials of Dagestan
This was announced on 6 February by the republic’s Minister of the Interior Abdurashid Magomedov in his reply to the official appeal of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia.
On 3 February, the meeting between Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova and Ambassador of Ireland to the Russian Federation Eoin O’Leary was held.
