On 7 December, a session of the Coordination Council of Russian Commissioners for Human Rights chaired by High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova was held in Moscow.
On 27 November, President of Russia Vladimir Putin ordered the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the issue of awarding the status of veterans of military operations to the Russian servicemen participating in the military operation in Syria. The order was based on the appeal of High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Ella Pamfilova.

In October — November, the High Commissioner conducted inspections following a number of appeals, including the ones of convicted Oleg Navalny, Leonid Razvozzhaev and Sergey Udaltsov. The inspections were carried out jointly with the representatives of the High Commissioner’s Office and regional commissioners for human rights.
