High Commissioner helped compatriots from Germany

High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova assisted German citizens to obtain a temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation.

On May 18, a German citizen of Russian origin addressed the High Commissioner at the personal reception of citizens in Simferopol. According to the complaint, after the divorce the German court granted her former husband the right to meet with their child, the woman did not interfere. But later it turned out that ex-husband was a person sexually attracted to children, and his pedophilia was confirmed by medical documents.

The applicant with her son went to Russia and personally asked Tatiana Moskalkova for assistance in obtaining a permit for temporary residence on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The ombudswoman promised to deal with the circumstances of the case and took appeal for her personal control.

Based on the response received, the Department for Migration Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol, taking into account the circumstances, allocated to the applicant and her son a quota for a permit for temporary residence on the territory of Russia.

Thus, thanks to Tatiana Moskalkova it was succeeded to provide immediate assistance to compatriots in a difficult situation.

On May 30, the High Commissioner’s Office received a gratitude from citizen Kh. and her son.

Dear Tatiana Nikolaevna!
We sincerely thank you for your support, responsiveness and help in solving our problem!
We congratulate you on your Birthday and wish you great success in your professional activity, good health to you and your loved ones, peace of mind and strength for many years!
Best regards, Kh.
