Care Knowledge Institute social project to launch in Buryatia

On 22 April, a social project The Care Knowledge Institute is to be launched on the initiative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Buryatia Yulia Zhambalova. The project is to be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Security Social Support Centre, Sberbank of Russia, and the Law Institute at East Siberia State University of Technology and Management.

A year after reunion of Crimea with Russia, the human rights situation in the region is still worse than as compared to that one in the country in total, but changes for the better are obvious. In an interview for Interfax journalist Dmitry Zhmutsky, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Crimea Lyudmila Lubina told about observation of the rights of the Crimeans who refused from Russian citizenship, the ones who came back from deportation, and those who serve sentence in the republic.

The application has been supported by Commissioner for Human Rights in Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Sevastyanov, while the regional transport prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit against the new station in Chelyabinsk.
