On 4–8 July, IV Summer School on Human Rights dedicated to the cooperation between state and civil society actors in the implementation of human rights international covenants was held in Voronezh. A representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia participated in the work of the School.

The term of investigation into the conscript’s death has been prolonged till 5 September.

Human Rights Commissioner in Kaluga Region signed cooperation agreement with Regional Election Commission
Commissioner for Human Rights in Kaluga Region Yuri Zelnikov signed a cooperation and interaction agreement with Chairman of the Election Commission of Kaluga Region.
On 1 July, a meeting devoted to the outcomes of the work of the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and public assistants of the Commissioner in the first half of 2016 took place. Sariya Saburskaya thanked the public assistants for the efficient work, promt response to citizens' complaints, and participation in the public life of the Republic.
On 27 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Mari El Irina Tatarinova and the Department of Federal Bailiffs Service of Russia renewed cooperation agreement and discussed possibilities of joint activities.

On 24 June, Commissioner for Human Rights in Bryansk Region Vyacheslav Tulupov attended an opening of new medical unit in the Starodub maximum security correctional facility (Correctional Facility No. 5 of the Bryansk Region General Department of the FPS of Russia). The ceremony was also attended by representatives of local authorities, the FPS officials, and human rights protection activists.
