On March 1, Commissioner for Human Rights in the city of Sevastopol Pavel Butsai and the head of the EMERCOM Main Department for the city of Sevastopol Sergei Klimenko signed a bilateral cooperation agreement.
The document provides the creation of favorable conditions aimed at improving the system of rendering assistance to people who have fallen into a difficult life situation and the interaction of state authorities and civil society.
During the meeting the parties also discussed prospects for cooperation in ensuring human rights and freedoms in the city of Sevastopol. In particular, a broad exchange of information on the prevention of accidents and emergencies is envisaged, as well as interaction in training and exercises.
In conclusion, Pavel Butsai noted that such cooperation contributes to the effectiveness of existing and developed regulations in the field of ensuring the safety of hazardous facilities.
