Round table "Constitutionalism and Strategic Legal Actions in the Russian Federation" took place in Voronezh Region

On April 24, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Voronezh Region Tatiana Zrazhevskaya took part in the round table «Constitutionalism and Strategic Legal Actions in the Russian Federation».

Participants included representatives of the House of Human Rights, practicing lawyers, teachers working with legal clinics at universities and students.
Within the framework of the discussion, the theory and practice of organizing state and public life in accordance with the Constitution was considered. Various aspects were discussed in relation to the realities of time:
— Increasing of the role of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in the field of human rights protection, implementing the training program of lawyers in preparing appeals to the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights, conducting cases in such courts, the importance of training legal professionals on the basis of common experience;
— monitoring of the openness and accessibility of Russian courts;
— conducting training projects.

Tatiana Zrazhevskaya highlighted that it is the combination of the efforts of state authorities and civil society in the field of human rights protection that makes it possible to deduce the observance of human rights to a qualitatively new level.
