Penza Commissioner secured observance of sanitary norms

With assistance of Commissioner for Human Rights in Penza Region Elena Rogova the right of the region’s residents to healthy environment has been restored.

A group of residents of Evlashevo settlement petitioned the regional Commissioner about violation of their rights by a pig farm. They reported about violation of sanitary norms, and spoiling the air and ground by the farm.

Having considered the case, the Commissioner appealed to competitive authorities. After a number of inspections, numerous law violations were revealed. The farm’s owner was held liable for administrative offence.
