Krasnodar Ombudsman visited Center for interim detention of foreign citizens

On May 17, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Krasnodar Territory Sergey Myshak paid a follow-up visit to a regional center for interim detention of foreign citizens.

The Commissioner delivered baby cribs, a baby cot, a changing table, domestic appliances and hygiene items for babies. The things were collected after the Commissioner had addressed charitable organizations.

The Center was established at the end of last year for foreign citizens and stateless persons who are to be expelled from the Russian Federation.

During his previous visit, the Commissioner had been appealed to by mothers with children aged 4 months to 11 years. They had complained about shortage of articles of daily necessity.
