Anxieties of Barnaul residents. Reception by Altai Commissioner

Commissioner for Human Rights in the Altai Territory Boris Larin held a reception for citizens in the Industrial District of the city of Barnaul.

Residents of the largest district of the regional capital complained about illegal tree felling in the building surrounding grounds, rise in housing and communal services rates, unsatisfactory work of property management companies, housing cooperative organization issues, problems in gardening establishments, appealed for help as fire victims.

Given the large number of complaints from residents of the area about the work of numerous shops selling hard liquors and beer, pubs located in or near residential buildings, the Commissioner checked the results of work on a number of such complaints on the spot.

Boris Larin intends to submit his proposals for rectifying the current situation to the working group on these issues recently established in the Altai Territory Legislative Assembly.
