Working visit to UN Office at Geneva

On 15–16 June, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova took part in the 29th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which discussed such matters as protection of rights of displaced persons, migrants, and gender equality issues.

On 16 June, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova made a working visit to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).

In particular, Ella Pamfilova met with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, President of the UN Human Rights Council Joachim Rücker, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the UN Office Alexandre Fasel, Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva Michael Møller, Director of Human Rights Treaties Division at the OHCHR Ibrahim Salama, as well as with other staff members of the OHCHR.
