Tatiana Moskalkova visited polling stations

10 September 2017

On September 10, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova visited several polling stations in Moscow.

"Traditionally everything is well organized, there are friendly chairperson and members of commissions. However, a small number of people are evident, there are no queues for receiving voting ballots. We found out that information about the location of the polling stations has been removed from information boards simultaneously in all districts in Moscow, thus, voter turnout is underestimated", said Tatiana Moskalkova.

The High Commissioner together with the staff of her Office conducts a permanent monitoring of the observance of the citizens’ electoral rights.
