11 November 2019
New "Human rights" information leaflet

The new "Human rights" information leaflet of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation covers the most topical human rights issues. These include protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as the details of the joint reception of citizens by the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova and Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan. In addition, the leaflet highlights all the details of the mutual return of citizens of Russia and Ukraine on September 7.

The information leaflet focuses on the human dimension of human rights protection: it covers the issue of protecting the rights of older people, youth, including the measures a citizen needs to take in order not to get into a difficult life situation. You can also find out how to contact the High Commissioner.

Special attention is given to the "new address of human rights". Already this year, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation is to move to a new building, the benefits of which everyone can feel.

These are a comfortable reception area for applicants, an accessible environment for people with disabilities, rooms for visitors with children… Read about these and other advantages of the new "house of human rights" in our October information leaflet.
