Meeting with Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights

On 5 March, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova held an informal meeting with Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeriya Lutkovska in Geneva.

Tatiana Moskalkova and Valeriya Lutkovska discussed transfer of Ukrainian citizens held in Russian penal colonies into the territory of Ukraine, and continuation of the practice of monitoring visits to citizens of the two countries held in places of deprivation of liberty.

In addition, the parties agreed to exchange their experience and open relevant sections on their official websites that would contain information on interaction issues.

On 6 March Tatiana Moskalkova and Valeriya Lutkovska will continue their dialogue within the framework of the 30th GANHRI Annual Conference.
