On April 29, a meeting of the Council of Commissioners for Human Rights under the chairmanship of High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova was held online.

Tatiana Moskalkova spoke about a hotline functioning in the High Commissioner’s Office, as well as about the characteristics of received appeals.
According to the federal ombudswoman, complaints concern the lack of protective masks, antiseptic products and coronavirus testing. A large group of appeals is related to returning citizens from abroad and departure from the territory of Russia, as well as the protection of labor rights. A significant number of the received complaints also concern administrative responsibility.
