High Commissioner’s Office continues monitoring legality of voting

The working group organized in the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation continues to monitor the observance of the electoral rights of citizens. Representatives of the all-Russian «Clean Elections Corps» movement also take part in the work of the Office.

Members of the working group respond quickly to all the reports of human rights violations cases coming via the hotline.

On September 11, in Kaluga, I held a personal reception of citizens together with the regional ombudsman Yuriy Zelnikov. I was approached by citizen F., who was born in the city of Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk Region of Ukraine. As a child, he arrived in Russia with his parents, in 2007 his mother died, his father left for Ukraine.
