High Commissioner visited prison for dangerous special offenders in Vladimir

On 18 August, High Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova visited the federal government institution T-2 of the Vladimir Region Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.

During the inspection of the indoor premises the High Commissioner observed on proper condition of cells, exercise yards, visiting rooms, of a prison store and of a medical wing. In addition, Tatiana Moskalkova met with prisoners. As a result of one of the petitions the High Commissioner has decided to request the prosecutor’s office to follow up on the case.
