On June 30, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova accompanied by Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Adel Vafin visited the City Clinical Hospital No. 7 in Kazan.

While familiarizing with the work of the strategic departments of the clinic, Adel Vafin told Tatiana Moskalkova about the quality of medical care in the Republic of Tatarstan, including the satisfaction of the population with medical assistance, the work of the electronic patient interview service and the development of primary health care.

The High Commissioner also talked to hospital patients, who in turn confirmed the high level of treatment and rehabilitation and also noted the comfortable living conditions of the hospital.

In the end, Tatiana Moskalkova answered the journalists' questions.
In particular, the High Commissioner stated that the quality of medical care in the Republic of Tatarstan takes one of the leading positions in the Volga Federal District.

"Today we visited the City Clinical Hospital No. 7 in Kazan. What we saw once again confirms the validity of high appreciation for the health care of the Republic of Tatarstan," Tatiana Moskalkova said.

"It is important to especially point out the formation of the Technology Platform — the Unified State Information System «Electronic Healthcare of the Republic of Tatarstan", as well as the implementation of breakthrough technologies," the High Commissioner emphasized.

It should be noted that in addition to the Technology Platform, modern high-performance medical equipment has been introduced in the Republic of Tatarstan. For residents of remote areas, modern modular midwifery stations have been built and there are 54 helicopter platforms for emergencies.

"The measures taken undoubtedly contributed to a reduction in overall and infant mortality, and life expectancy in the Republic of Tatarstan exceeds the national average by 3 years," Tatiana Moskalkova said.
