High Commissioner joined the Interdepartmental Commission for the Council of Europe

On October 9, in accordance with the decree signed by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova became a member of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Council of Europe.

"To endorse the attached composition of the Interdepartmental Commission of the Russian Federation for the Council of Europe," the decree reads.

According to the document, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov will head the Commission. Assistant to the Russian President Larisa Brycheva and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexei Meshkov were appointed as Deputy Heads of the Commission.
