Dialogue with High Commissioner. Safety of children

Dialogue with High Commissioner. Safety of children

The first and most important thing that excites any parent is the safety of his child.

I was approached by the parents of pupils of one of the kindergartens of Pskov. According to them, the institution lacked safe conditions for the upbringing and education of children, the condition of the premises and the roof caused serious concern. Appeals to the competent authorities did not lead to any positive result.

I sent appeals to the administration of Pskov twice with a request to check the arguments outlined and, if necessary, to take action.

According to the replies received, the preschool institution received funds, which were directed to the capital and current repair of sleeping rooms and playrooms.

In addition, a plan was developed to improve the adjacent territory for 2018–2020.

Thus, the rights and legitimate interests of 225 children have been restored.
